The Fresno area is a hotbed for Mexican Folklorico and Mexico’s southern Oaxaca region is full of a variety of folk and indigenous dances. Yenedit Mendez and Veronica Chavez will guide a workshop with dancers sharing choreography as well as historical and cultural context of dances from the Oaxaca region.
Exhibition curators in conversation with Tlacolulokos art collective. Accessibility: Spanish with English interpretation. This will be a virtual event.
